2011 Prophetic Year In Review
Also contained in “Will the Real Gog Please Stand Up?” is a systematic theology comparing the prophet John’s Revelation chapters 16 and 19, and the prophet Ezekiel’s chapter 38 Jerusalem wars. Study it and you will discover through key words and events that their revelations are one in the same. Read the article and make the judgment for yourself. This is what this website is all about. I am convinced that Russia and Iran today are displaying a history making staging area for the Battle of Armageddon. Their complicity and effrontery to the world community in building a nuclear device are exemplary of the tyrannical alliance that will be led by Gog for destruction at the Second Coming of Christ. It will be the divinely marshaled armies of these nations, not the nation (peoples) themselves, that will be decimated on the plane of Armageddon while all the nations watch.

Remember, in 500 BC when Ezekiel prophesied this passage of Scripture, there was no “Arabia” or “Islamic nation.” The Ishmaelites wandered the deserts, but found their national origins in post World War I British and French consolidations. There was no Jordan or Pakistan. There was no Iran [Persia] or Iraq [Mesopotamia]. Persia and Ethiopia (northwest Africa) is now Islamic, so as far as the prophecy spoke of known nations then, it is possible that Islam who hates the Jewish people, was spoken of in them. Either that, or by the end of the Great Tribulation the nations of Ishmael outside of Persia may have been saved during Daniel’s 70th week and by then have no will to contribute. God loves Hagar and her child and has always had an eye on them. If it is Putin in “Gog’s” office at that time, he won’t be the originator of the plan. Ezekiel says God will put a hook in his jaw and force him down to his doom… “to capture spoil and to seize plunder, to turn your hand against the waste places which are now inhabited, and against the people who are gathered from the nations, who have acquired cattle and goods, who live at the center of the world'” (Ezekiel 38:12).
We must watch Iraq now that America has left them to their own after 5,000 lost lives and 30,000 wounded. Any move on Iraq will be considered a move on America after the blood and treasure spent there. Iran is already working politically to win over Iraq. Their border was drawn by the British and French. This will be an interesting watch in 2012.

or those of us watching possible fulfillments of prophecy in 2011, eyes on Russia and Iran were particularly fascinating. Ezekiel 38 speaks of a “Gog” led last-days Israel invasion that will include Persia, the modern nation of Iran. I cite two possibilities of who the Eschaton’s Gog could be in my article, “Will the Real Gog Please Stand Up?” Both are from the lineage of Noah’s son Magog, the first named Rosh, Russia; the other possibly a Magog descendant from another European entity. Since I wrote the article 20 years ago I’ve been led to believe Gog is the former, Russia, as I’ve watched glasnost and the alliance that developed between Russia and Iran. Ahmadinejad’s unassailable belief in the coming of the 12th Iman (counterfeit return of Christ); his belief that fulfilling Allah’s will is synchronic with the destruction of Israel and his driven will to develop a nuclear weapon to fulfill that; Russia’s sale of nuclear materials to the Iranian government in spite of the many embargos and financial sanctions placed on the country - certainly pique and eschatalogian’s curiosity.
